Our Story

The idea for QUeNCH Hydrate came from founder Jacques Du Plessis, who also owns Emergency Sports Care, a company providing medical services at sports events. During these events, Jacques and his team often recommended athletes mix an energy drink and a rehydration packet to recover quickly and get a boost. However, this method came with a downside — the drinks contained high amounts of sugar, which wasn’t ideal for long-term health, especially for kids and diabetics.

Driven by a desire to offer a healthier alternative, Jacques set out to create a better solution. That’s when QUeNCH Hydrate was born. Designed with a unique 3D Hydration Formula, it provides higher levels of essential electrolytes than the traditional mixes he used to suggest. Additionally, the inclusion of Palatinose, a low GI carbohydrate, limits the amount of simple sugars in the drink, making it not only effective for performance but also safe for children and those with diabetes. With QUeNCH Hydrate, you get sustained hydration and energy without the health risks of excessive sugar.
